Transfers are this week so this is going to be short again. I’m staying, Sister Zumbach is leaving and I’m going to be in a TRIPAN. I’ll be bringing two sisters with me back to Grande Prairie! I’m so excited.
One of the highlights of the week: We went to British Columbia on Thursday (same province Riverdale is filmed in) for our last in-person district council. Elder Mattson gave it so like always, it was great?.
Grande Prairie is doing SO WELL. It makes me so happy to see that everyone we are teaching right now is progressing. We met with Angie last night, she really opened up to us and told us how she wants to change her life. We taught her the Gospel of Jesus Christ and talked to her about baptism. She loved the idea of it and said she would think about it. Joe has one more lesson before his baptism next weekend so we’re all excited about that. Lizwi is doing SO well. He asks such great questions when we meet. Zhen Zhen came to church and is starting to attend all church activities. We had such a good lesson with James Sunday evening and he bore his testimony after and expressed how grateful he is for the truths we’ve shared with him and continue to share with him. He’s so great.
I hope you’re all getting ready to Light The World!! The new initiative is so exciting and I’m so excited to show it to others. In the spirit of service, here’s one of my favorite scriptures: Mosiah 2:41 saying, “And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.”
I’m so grateful for this gospel and the everlasting happiness it brings. I’m so grateful for my family and the plan of happiness. I’m grateful for Jesus Christ, who made it possible so I can be with my family forever. I’m so grateful to be set apart for this short time to do the Lord’s work. There’s so much to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone, I love you all!
