The Latter-day Saint MissionCast Podcast is for those preparing to serve a mission, currently on a mission, as well as those who have come home. The podcast is designed to increase global awareness of the missionary effort, as well as provide a platform for training, and encouragement.
Hosted by Nick Galieti, Latter-day Saint MissionCast is a fun, entertaining, but substantive show featuring guests that include return missionaries, scholars, or others who can contribute as best serves the topic (including the occasional celebrity or influencer).

About the Host: Nick Galieti
Nick Galieti is an experienced a podcaster for organizations like FairMormon, LDS Perspectives and Book of Mormon Central, as well as his own podcast, The Good Word that featured interviews with LDS Authors and Writers. Nick Galieti was recipient of the 2015 John Taylor: Defender of the Faith Award by FairMormon for outstanding service and contributions to Latter-day Saint Apologetics. Since starting podcasting in 2011, Nick has produced, or hosted over 750 Podcast episodes.
Nick Galieti is also the author of the books “Tree of Sacrament,” “The Exaltation Equation,” and is a contributor and editor for the volume “D&C 4: A Lifetime Study in Discipleship.” The proceeds of the D&C 4 book are being donated to the missionary program of the Church. Nick has directed and produced two feature length documentaries on Joseph Smith: “Picturing Joseph,” and “Murder of the Mormon Prophet.”
Nick is an entrepreneur and has owned multiple businesses, but works primarily as a sound engineer, traveling the world working for multi-national corporations for their conventions. Nick married his wife, Heidi, in 2001 and they have 5 daughters.
Kelsey Edwards – Past Host
Kelsey Edwards is a talented actress, musician, and director. Born in San Antonio, Texas she started acting at a very young age. Kelsey appeared in her first film with Sean Patrick Flanery and Mimi Rogers when she was just 8-years-old. That one film paved the road for many others in the future, as well as commercials, TV pilots, music videos, short films and internet videos. Professionally trained in LA, Kelsey has worked in a variety of acting markets including California, Texas and most recently Utah. She has played opposite celebrity actors such as Jennette McCurdy (iCarly), Tony Hale (Arrested Development) and Savannah Gipson (Big Time Rush). As a skilled veteran of the acting industry, Kelsey brings expertise, patience and an in-depth understanding of what it takes to succeed. Some of her credits include starring in the internationally acclaimed film Minor Details, appearing in videos for the LDS church and most recently a viral social media ad for Lipsense.

Shawn Rapier – Latter-day Lives Segment Contributor
California native Shawn Rapier is a noted speaker, comedian, writer, business executive and host of the Latter Day Lives podcast. As a comedian, Shawn has toured the nation headlining comedy clubs and entertaining corporate clients such as GM, IBM and US Synthetic. He has written several commercials, short films and music videos for artists such as The Killers. He has won multiple Telly awards for his commercial work. One of his greatest joys is speaking at youth firesides. A 20+ year veteran of the consumer electronics industry, Shawn is currently the Vice President of Business Development for a large wireless accessory company. He currently lives in Lindon Utah with his wife Vanessa. He is the proud father of seven children.
